Moving from a very populated city of India to Bozeman would have been a very challenging experience had it not been for the super friendly ISI personnel: Dave and Jim. The very first week they took us to Yellowstone National Park. Since then ISI activities have always been very appropriately suited towards educational-recreational enrichment of new international students such as myself. Rodeo, trips to national parks, Monday night dinners, exposure to American cultural with local warm-hearted families are among the plethora of avenues that ISI opens to the international experience, benefiting both the students and the community of Bozeman. I have made strong friendships in the ISI environment, a treasure I shall cherish forever. Thank You, Everyone, from ISI-Bozeman. Dave especially you! Jim and June you make the warmest family for us all!"

I greatly thank you to the ISI Staff for supporting international students by providing opportunities to make friends and experience American culture and also for helping us when we need help. I cannot imagine myself getting through when times are tough without the heartwarming help and support from ISI people. I consider myself very fortunate to pick MSU in Bozeman for my college and met ISI members while studying in a foreign country.” Moeko Toride, M.S. Biology, Japan

"Hello everyone, the ISI group is one of its kind. The group has heart loving and kind hearted volunteers and staffs. Being here from the first day I joined this group has been awesome, coming from a different cultural background wasn’t a limit to excelling, rather the group has helped me develop my cross cultural leadership skills ...that's not all. Being in this group has made it possible to make friends and understand other internationals in Montana and making friends with alot of Americans was made possible by this wonderful group..........Am so excited to be a member of this group "staffs and volunteers are always there for us all" Don’t feel abandoned as an international........This is the best place to be!!!!!"

Trying to adjust a new life in a foreign country was definitely tough. However, ISI members were there to help me make friends and enjoy my time in the US. The events all year round get you connected to the community and make your transition easier."

When I first came to Bozeman, I was the only Haitian here. Of course I felt disconnected and lost. But the ISI group is awesome, especially Becky, Jim and June. They are always there for you for whatever you need and are always willing to help you the best they can. It doesn’t matter where you are from; ISI shows you from many ways that you have a special place in their heart. As an International, I thank ISI very much for all the trips that they hosted for us, especially unexpected pool party for more than 30 internationals (LOL)..or missing flights..Anyways, Here we know that we can count on them and we will also feel welcomed with dinners and all kind of trips. ISI, Woot Woot!!! ~ Dominique Etienne, B.A. Business

I had great experience meeting ISI people through Monday dinner.
They were all nice to me. I could hang out with them and do lots of activities, which helped me improve my English skills. They also helped me know about Christianity that was not known much in Japan.
I liked studying bible with them, and their way of believing God made me rethink my life as well.

ISI fed me when I was hungry loved me when I was hurting, and offered a place of fellowship when I felt out of place. It has helped me realize that I do not visit the lonely as I ought to, nor do I give my time to serving and helping the needy as is just. Today is the day to have a change of heart and seek wisdom that is not my own. The ISI community is ready to welcome anyone who stops by and offers hope to those who have lost the way.”
